Accuslim review

What is Accuslim?

Accuslim.jpgThere are constantly new products cramming the weight loss shelves in supermarkets, pharmacies, and even natural health food stores and Accuslim is just one of the many.

What this diet pill claims is that it is the “super sexy diet pill” that will help you lose 1-2 pounds per week, during the time that you take Accuslim, although the Accuslim website also specifically states that results will vary between individuals as with all weight loss programs.

This isn’t surprising, as all people lose weight at different rates and speeds. The website also states that this weight loss pill must be taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise. While it is reassuring to see weight loss companies becoming more responsible about telling people this, it is very possible to still lose the same amount of weight with a proper diet and exercise alone, without any help from Accuslim.

Accuslim ingredients

On its official website, Accuslim claims that it uses the ingredient Citrus Aurantium, which is comparable to ephedra but does not have the same harmful side effects of the latter drug. It also claims that while this ingredient has been known about for some time, its uses on weight loss are just being discovered.

Citrus Aurantium can help with weight loss because it boosts the metabolism and therefore, you burn fat faster than normal. While Citrus Aurantium definitely can help with weight loss, the fact that this is a new discovery is not true. This ingredient, along with many of the other ingredients in Accuslim, is quite commonly found in many weight loss supplements on the market.

The other ingredients that can be found in Accuslim are:

  • Chromium Chelavite
  • Vanadium
  • Rhodiola Rosea
  • Garcinia Cambogia
  • Green Tea Leaf
  • Oriental Ginseng
  • American Ginseng
  • Eleuthero

Among these ingredients are stimulants and caffeine, which are substances that could be harmful and are generally things to be avoided. It should also be considered that Accuslim needs to be taken before each meal, and that 1-3 capsules can be taken.

Even with the minimum dosage, 3 pills a day is a lot of caffeine, not to mention what you will be getting from your diet. These high amounts of caffeine and stimulants have been known to cause some side effects in certain users.

Accuslim side effects

The most common side effects of Accuslim are:

  • feelings of anxiousness or restlessness
  • nervousness
  • irritability
  • upset stomach
  • dizziness
  • nausea
  • heart palpitations

Is Accuslim recommended?

If you’re looking for a weight loss pill that will help you safely and effectively lose weight, then you probably want to consider something other than Accuslim. There are no clinical trials or studies on the manufacturer’s website to indicate that it really does work and the claims that the website makes, such as that it uses new-found ingredients, are simply not true.

Accuslim uses a fairly typical blend of ingredients for diet pills but these blends just often create new problems, such as creating a dependency on the caffeine, that mask the old ones. Even if a small amount of weight is lost while on Accuslim, once you stop taking the pill, the weight will come back if you don’t continue with eating properly and exercising regularly.
