What is Fenphedra?
Fenphedra is a diet pill that is made by Fenphedra Inc. and is available to anyone who wants to order it online, as long as you’re over 18 years old. The company’s website claims that Fenphedra works by balancing out the ‘ying and yang’ in your brain, or the ‘good versus evil.’
They claim that the ‘good’ part of your brain, that is, the part of the brain that is helping you to lose weight, is called CART. When the CART in the brain is given something that will help activate it, it will increase your metabolism, suppress your appetite, and increase insulin production in your body, which will help you burn energy instead of allowing your body to store that energy as fat.
The ‘bad’ part of the brain, according to the Fenphedra website, is NPY and this is actually a stress hormone which, when activated, will cause the eating signals in the brain to become overly active, causing you to eat more and gain weight.
Fenphedra claims that they will stimulate CART so that you receive all of the benefits, and at the same time, will suppress the NPY, which will enable you to not overeat in times of stress.
But does it work and what do you really need to know about this drug before you take it?
The first thing you need to know is that there is an extensive list of ingredients involved in the making of Fenphedra. The ingredients in the drug include:
- DiCaffeine Malate, which is really just an upgraded version of caffeine
- Chocamine, which is a cocoa ingredient that also contains amino acids and minerals
- Phenylethylamine, which is thought to give users a feeling of well-being and also counteracts some of the negative side effects, such as jitteriness that you may experience from the caffeine and cocoa ingredients
- Synephrine, which has been proven as a stimulant
- Humulus Lupus, which is thought to provide a calming effect and is often used to treat insomnia
How is Fenphedra sold?
Simply knowing how it works and what the ingredients are shouldn’t be enough to convince you to try Fenphedra for yourself. There are many theories surrounding this drug and the possible scam that you could be falling for if you try it for yourself. Fenphedra is only sold online and is mostly sold via eBay.
There is certainly nothing wrong with using eBay as a selling tool but there aren’t many other reputable companies that take to an auction site for the sale of their products. The company, Fenphedra Inc., also uses mostly spam emailing to market its product and again, you must consider that most legitimate companies have less intrusive and more effective ways of marketing their product than simply swamping people’s inboxes.
The company’s phone number can be found nowhere on the website and not only does this point to the fact that it may not be a reliable company or product, but it could also be indicative of problems that you will have should you have a problem with your order and need to contact them.
No side effects?
Perhaps the largest reason why Fenphedra isn’t recommended is because there are no side effects listed. Not only does this raise concern as most pills of any kind will have the potential for some side effects, but combining that with the drug’s long list of ingredients and it’s difficult to believe that not one of them could cause unpleasant side effects.
