If You Put Your Mind To It, You Can Accomplish Anything!
Hello everybody! My name is Gabriel and since I am one of the authors of this website, I’d like to tell you a little bit more about myself, my weight loss journey and how I got an idea for this website. Ever since I was a little kid, I remember that I have always liked to eat and didn’t like exercising too much. Actually, whom am I lying to? I hated exercising! I prefered staying at home, watching TV etc… I was absolutely anti-talented for any sport. I could not run fast at all in school, and that made me depressed because I was always comparing myself to other guys who could run fast. In school I had just a few friends and I seemed to be unhappy all the time. Looking back now, this all looks to me as if I’m talking about a different person.
As the years passed…
During the time, I gained more and more weight, and spent more time indoors. I had a few girlfriends, and last one from that period left me for no reason (actually the reason was obvious – me being overweight). I became depressed because I had a bad self-image. I had low self-confidence as well. I didn’t like going out or going to my friends or meeting new people… All that because I was overweight!
I had enough of it when I realized that I’m missing out much of a life just because I was overweight. I remember that day very well; I sat down in a chair, relaxed, I closed my eyes, and started to think about how my life would be different if I was not overweight, if I had slim and attractive body. I visualized myself with slim body. I imagined walking on the street and having other women smile at me. I smiled back to them. I visualized myself with my new friends sitting in a bar, talking and just having a good time with them. Instantly, I felt overwhelmed with positive emotions. I had no fears of what others thought about my look, or me because I was satisfied with my look… and THAT was the only thing that was important to me…
I opened my eyes. That was the moment when I simply KNEW that I would change, that I would lose my weight. How was I so sure about that? Simply because in that moment I realized that weight loss is something that starts in your own mind and that it is all about your mindset. That was the truth. Divine Moment of Truth! From that day, nothing was the same as before. I made up my mind that I will take any step that is required in order to lose weight. No matter what, I told myself that I WOULD reach my goal! And I did it… I successfully managed to lose weight. It was hard in the beginning… I couldn’t make myself go out and exercise, or change my diet. It was so hard for me. But every time that happened, I just reminded myself of my goal, and instantly I would move one step forward. My strong will always pushed me forward!
From the earlier days I had several online friends that I met randomly online in chat rooms about weight loss. One of those friends is Jannine, who is co-author of this website. I kept in contact with her and some other online friends on a regular basis. I remember that one time (during my weight loss journey), one of my online buddies mentioned something called a weight loss pill. I was like “There is no way a pill can help me lose weight!” Very soon after a lot of research I realized that there was a whole weight loss pills industry out there! I was very skeptical about the whole idea, but it had me thinking… The reason why I had always failed to stick to a diet was the strong feeling of hunger. So I figured that a pill that takes the hunger away could really help me. This got me even more interested!
My success with weight loss products
Over the time I have tried several different diet pills and I came to a conclusion that majority of them did not work. That’s because most of those diet pills contained synthetic chemicals, which could be very harmful to your health. I oriented myself towards finding only natural weight loss solutions. I found out that only couple of them really worked and proved their official claims. Jannine and myself did a lot of research and chose top diet pills that are 100% effective. Those are the pills that you absolutely can use and do not have to worry about side effects.
I felt the need to help others
I made up my mind that I would somehow help people out there who are trying to lose weight. Why would I want to do that? Because I KNOW how hard it can be struggling to lose weight; I KNOW how being overweight can influence your life in a negative way. I have been there… Now, I know that a lot of people give up before they even try to lose weight. Or they just don’t have the right mindset to do it. Trust me, if I could do it, so can you! This website is dedicated to all those people who are trying to lose weight.
In case you are wondering, I am today happily married with 2 kids and a gorgeous wife. I exercise about 3-4 times a week (mostly jogging in the park with my wife or a friend; sometimes I go swimming). Eating obsessively is not a problem for me anymore because I am exercising on a regular basis, and that has a direct influence on my diet. I avoid snacks and similar foods. From time to time I allow myself to eat a ‘non-healthy’ foods that I like. Nothing wrong with that. As I mentioned earlier, losing weight is all about the right mindset, and not about starving or being hard on yourself.
