What is Zantrex-3?
Zantrex-3 is a diet pill that is available without a prescription that claims it is 5 times better than ephedra, an ingredient found in many competitors’ diet pills. Zantrax-3 also claims that it will not only help you lose fat but will also help give you leaner muscles, increased metabolism, and high energy levels.
In addition to this, Zantrex-3 also claims that it can help fight depression, improve your mood and help maintain an overall balance both physically and mentally. That really does seem to be a lot more than other diet pills have to offer but how does it work, is it effective, and most importantly, is it safe?
The ingredients that make up the Zantrex-3 pill are:
- yerba mate
- guarana seed
- green tea
- piper nigum
- Tibetan ginseng
- panax ginseng
- maca root
- cocoa nut
- kola nut
- thea sinensis complex
Zantrex-3 side effects
The biggest problem with this list is that it contains a lot of caffeine and natural stimulants and taking an excessive amount of caffeine in any form is never recommended. The caffeine levels are so high that it is this ingredient that is mostly responsible for many, if not all, of the nasty side effects that come with taking Zantrex-3.
These side effects include:
- feeling jittery or anxious
- an increased heart rate
- increased blood pressure
- tendency to sweat more
- upset stomach such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting
- loss of appetite
- increased urination
- tendency to break out in cold sweats
- feeling of restlessness
- becoming irritable at small annoyances
Also, because caffeine can be addictive, there is a chance that one could become dependent on the pills or, dependent on another source of caffeine. It’s recommended that if someone who drinks large amounts of caffeine wants to begin taking the pill that they reduce or eliminate the caffeine already in their diet.
Only high amounts of caffeine could cause side effects such as an upset stomach and breaking out into cold sweats. In fact, one pill of Zantrex-3 can be compared to having as much caffeine as 3-4 cups of coffee.
Consider also that when using Zantrex-3 as a weight loss pill, it is to be taken 15-30 minutes before a meal and that 2 capsules at once should be taken. That’s a total of 6-8 cups of coffee before eating every meal! This high amount of caffeine is clearly not recommended in anyone’s diet, whether in the form of coffee or from a supplement!
The Zantrax-3 website also claims that by using this diet pill, one can experience “effortless weight loss”, which should immediately send up some red flags. When trying to lose weight, it is essential that a proper diet and a regular exercise routine are all part of the program, whether you also want to include a weight loss pill or not.
Any product that advertises that you can lose weight with their pill alone is clearly promising something that is too good to be true.
Do we recommend Zantrex-3?
Definitely not! List of possible side effects is just too big and we cannot ignore the fact that there’s a lot of caffeine in these pills.
